I started making and creating at a very young age with my amazing grandmother Louise Bean. She taught me a lot about art and about life. She inspired me to become an art teacher. I went back to school fairly late in life, after getting married and having my four beautiful children. My first art teacher job was in Fayetteville, TN at Fayetteville City Middle School. I enjoyed working at the middle school; however, three years later, my dream job came open at a school that has always been very special to me. I started teaching at Clark Memorial Elementary School in 2014, and it felt like coming home. I now have several wonderful grandchildren and I am looking forward to more. I love going to the beach, reading, making art, and being with my family.
