Welcome to third grade!  I am delighted that your child is in my class.  With your encouragement, your child will be a part of many exciting and rewarding experiences this school year.

     My name is Alicia Wall.  I have taught in both second and third grade for over twenty-five years. My experience also includes teaching reading to students ranging from kindergarten to third grade in the Title I Program. Since completing my undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University, I have since completed my M.Ed. and Ed. S. Degrees.

     I just celebrated 32 years of marriage. During which, I gave birth to triplet girls.  They are currently seniors in college.

     Since lifelong success depends in part on self-discipline, I have developed a Classroom Discipline Plan.  It encourages each student to make good decisions about his or her behavior, and thus an opportunity to learn in a positive, nurturing class environment.  Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for his/her growth.
